Nasiha & Hadith Of The Day

Nasihah (Advice): The importance of maintaining family ties

There are numerous Ahadith that emphasize the importance of maintaining family ties and virtues have been recorded for those who make efforts to maintain family ties. In contrast to this, there are also numerous Ahadith that sound severe warnings to those who take steps towards severing family ties such as the Hadith in which Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The person who severs family ties will not enter Jannah” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith #: 5984, Narrated by Jubair bin Mut’im)

Nasihah (Advice): Good parenting

The rewards for good parenting and providing the correct Islamic upbringing are manifold. In the Hadith, Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) has guaranteed his proximity in paradise for the parent who provides his/her children with the correct Islamic upbringing with sound morals and values. (Abu Dawood)
